About our prices: Our prices are a reflection of the ingredients used to make yummy mummy cupcakes high quality, healthy and as organic as possible. We use organic, natural, and local ingredients. Our sugar is organic, our vanilla is pure not imitation, our milk is organic and dairy free, our butter is vegan, and our cupcakes are baked fresh and from scratch. Last but not least our cupcakes are made from love. Enjoy!

Disclaimer: We are not nut free. We do use almond milk. However, my son has serious tree nut allergies and has not had any issues with the products. We  make every effort to make sure our gluten free products are made with separate, labeled equipment which is sterilized in between.  We also label your orders so, you know what you are eating.

 

WHOLESALE
Everything we produce is made in-house, including caramels, frostings, and many of our decorations. We  take pride in making you a gourmet product that is often very labor-intensive.

Classes/Parties

Cupcakes make a great addition to any birthday party, baby shower, wedding or corporate event.

Since Yummy Mummy Cupcakery bakes from scratch, we require at least 72 hours advance. We need a minimum of one week’s notice for orders of more than 100 cupcakes. For larger orders such as weddings and special events, please give us as much notice as possible to ensure that we can create perfect cupcakes for your event. You’re more than welcome to give us a call and see what we can do to accommodate last minute requests. Special decorations are available upon request for an additional charge. Please note, all special orders must be paid for in advance.

Parties

Yummy Mummy Cupcakery hosts boys and girls cupcake decorating parties for ages 5 and up! Whether for a kid’s birthday party or bridal shower, decorating cupcakes is fun, especially when you do it with friends. We supply the cupcakes, icing, and decorations as well as me to help in making the masterpieces. I believe it should be messy and fun. Everyone will go home with a box of cupcakes.

Mini cupcakes have become a popular special order item.  Because minis are labor intensive and we bake from scratch, we have a set policy for ordering:
• There is a dozen per flavor minimum
• We need 3 days notice (which we ask for all special orders)
• You can only select flavors from the daily menu for the date of your order
• Mini Vanilla and Chocolate are available every day
• Certain flavors are not available as a mini version
• Minis are $2.50 each, $30.00 per dozen (vegan only)

We also use spelt flour on our vegan baked goods. I love spelt and its low in Carbs and yummy.

Gluten free items use seperate labeled equipment in addition to sterilization to avoid cross contamination. We take every precaution to prevent cross contamination.

Gluten Free and Vegan Snickerdoodles

Snickerdoodles from Babycakes Covers the Classics: Gluten-free Vegan Recipes from Donuts to Snickerdoodles by Erin McKenna

1 1/3 cups plus ½ cup vegan sugar
3 tablespoons ground cinnamon
2 cups rice flour
¼ cup ground flax meal
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon xantham gum
1 teaspoon salt
¾ cup plus 2 tablespoons melted refined coconut oil or canola oil
½ cup unsweetened applesauce
2 tablespoons vanilla extract

Preheat the oven to 325˚F. Line 2 rimmed baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside.

In a shallow bowl, whisk together the ½ cup sugar and 2 tablespoons of the cinnamon until evenly incorporated. Set aside.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the 1 1/3 cups sugar, the flour, flax meal, baking soda, xantham gum, salt, and remaining 1 tablespoon of cinnamon. Add the coconut oil, applesauce, and vanilla and mix with a rubber spatula until a thick dough that resembles wet sand forms. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.

Working in batches, drop the dough by the teaspoonful into the cinnamon-sugar mixture and roll around to coat the dough all over. Place on the prepared baking sheets, about 1 inch apart. Gently press each cookie with a fork to help them spread. Bake for 7 minutes, rotate the baking sheets, and continue baking for 7 minutes more, or until the cookies are crispy around the edges. Let stand on the baking sheets for 15 minutes before serving.

McKenna says this recipe makes 36 cookies, but I found it be closer to 60.

Gluten Free Chickpea salad with carrots, walnuts, and French feta

Chickpea salad with carrots, walnuts, and French feta
2 cups chickpeas, rinsed and drained
½ cup raw walnuts
2 carrots, julienned
handful French feta, crumbled
½ cup arugula, shredded into small pieces
kosher salt
cracked black pepper
sherry-walnut vinaigrette (see recipe below)

Combine the chickpeas, walnuts, carrots, salt and pepper.

Drizzle with s small spurt of vinaigrette and toss.

Compose in the bowl and add the French feta.

Serve.

Sherry-walnut vinaigrette

3 tablespoons sherry vinegar
½ teaspoon kosher salt
½ teaspoon cracked black pepper
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
½ cup walnut oil

In a blender, combine the sherry vinegar, salt, pepper, and mustard. Mix them well. Slowly, slowly drizzle in the olive oil as the blender is running. When the liquids have blended into a coherent mixture (known as emulsifying), stop the blender. Drizzle this over the chickpeas and eat. From Gluten Free Girl
